Internal use and scope
Factory Legal Docs is a feature of an internal team service. These terms describe authorized use of its Google Docs publishing connection; they do not establish a public subscription offer or grant access to external customers. The Factory administrator is the point of contact through the team's established internal support channel.
Only team members authorized by the administrator may operate the connection. Use on behalf of a team or account must remain within the authority granted to you. Existing employment, organizational or service agreements remain applicable; these pages do not replace them.
Account authorization and security
Connect only a Google account that you are authorized to use for team publication. OAuth permission is limited to drive.file; do not share account passwords, refresh tokens or client credentials with unauthorized people. Promptly report suspected credential exposure or incorrect access to the administrator.
The Google account owner can revoke authorization at any time. Google Drive storage, quotas and account restrictions depend on that account and Google's applicable terms.
Publication instructions
Choosing Google Docs for a Factory run instructs the service to create or update the run's legal and support documents and make them publicly readable by link. Repeated publication is intended to update the same documents and preserve their URLs. JSON hosting is a separate selection.
Review source content before running publication and check the resulting document links afterwards. Google conversion may change HTML layout and does not execute scripts or web forms. A published support document is information for readers, not an interactive support form.
If you need to withdraw a document, change its Drive sharing settings or delete it, and stop the relevant Factory publishing workflow. OAuth revocation alone does not withdraw documents already published.
Content rights and permitted use
You retain the rights you hold in submitted content. The team must have authority to upload, convert, update and publicly distribute that content through Google. Publication grants public readers technical access; it does not by itself grant a copyright licence beyond rights provided by applicable law or a separately stated licence.
Publish only material intended for public disclosure. Do not include credentials, confidential business information, private personal records, unlawful content, or material that infringes another person's rights. Do not use the integration to evade Google's policies, impersonate another publisher, or interfere with service security.
Responsibility for application policies
The application team is responsible for the accuracy and suitability of each application's privacy policy, terms and support information, including whether they match actual application behaviour and applicable law. Automated generation or hosting does not amount to legal advice, legal review, or approval by Google or an app store.
These connection terms do not determine the privacy practices or contractual terms of an application whose documents are hosted. Each application must provide its own correct disclosures and contact arrangements.
Google services and independence
Google Drive and Docs are third-party services governed by Google's terms and applicable account or Workspace agreements. Their API policies, availability and limits may affect publication. Factory is an independent integration and is not represented as endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Google.
The connection's handling of Google data is described in the privacy policy. Public document readers interact with Google's viewing service and are also subject to its applicable rules.
Availability, changes and suspension
Publication can fail or be delayed because of revoked authorization, network errors, quotas, storage restrictions, provider changes or maintenance. No separate uptime or response-time commitment is made by this connection notice. Keep appropriate source copies and verify links used in applications.
The administrator may restrict or suspend the connection to address security, unlawful publication, misuse or operational failures. Suspension of Factory access does not automatically remove Google documents. Material changes to the publishing workflow should be communicated to affected team members.
Charges and separate agreements
These pages do not create a purchase, subscription, renewal or refund arrangement. Any charges for Google services or the wider Factory service are governed by the relevant account, organizational or separately agreed terms.
Liability and mandatory rights
Responsibility for loss or damage is determined by applicable law and any governing agreement between the relevant parties. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, and do not waive mandatory consumer or data protection rights where those rights apply.
Operational limitations described here are not a blanket release of liability or a promise that publication will meet every application's legal or regulatory obligations.
Ending use, questions and revisions
A team member may stop using this connection and ask the administrator to withdraw access or remove the relevant local records. Revocation, unpublishing and deletion are distinct actions, described in the privacy policy. Existing content rights, confidentiality obligations and applicable legal duties continue according to their own terms.
Raise questions or disputes first through the team's internal support channel. This notice does not select an exclusive court or override the governing law of an existing agreement. If a provision cannot be applied under mandatory law, it does not remove rights that the law preserves.
The update date identifies the current version. Material revisions should be communicated before they affect authorized use; any legally required consent or agreement must be obtained separately.
